Cal Fawell

Hello! I'm Cal. Starting Fall 2026, I'll be a Dean's Postdoctoral Scholar at Florida State University.

I received my Ph.D. in philosophy at UNC Chapel Hill in 2026 under the supervision of James Pryor. Before that, I was an undergraduate at the University of Chicago, and Fall of 2024, I was a visiting student at MIT. Here's my CV. 

I work in epistemology and the philosophy of language.

When not doing philosophy, I enjoy woodworking, taking walks, and playing various instruments.
