Cal Fawell
Hello! My name is Cal, and I'm a fifth-year doctoral candidate in philosophy at UNC Chapel Hill. Before that, I was an undergraduate at the University of Chicago, where I studied philosophy (and minored in math). Fall of 2024, I'll be a visiting student at MIT.
My philosophical interests lie primarily in epistemology, though I also enjoy thinking about questions in the philosophy of language. I'm writing a dissertation in epistemology advised by Jim Pryor (chair), Ram Neta, and Alex Worsnip.
When not doing philosophy, I enjoy woodworking, taking exploratory walks, and playing various instruments.
